US Patent No. 383,808 – Rocking Chair
NOTE: This is know as a “Lowentraut” style patented antique gliding chair. On May 29, 1888, George F. Hall was issued a patent for a sliding rocking chair which he assigned half of the patent to Peter Lowentraut. Peter Lowentraut’s name would eventually become synonymous with the design.
Measures 42" high 28" wide and 27" deep.
