Measurements are approximate. Panels have 8 tabs/ties per panel, valance has 16 tabs/ties. 

The 14" long ties at top are for decoration but can be used as tie-tops; that would make them longer. 

Ties can accent top, front or tie in a bow. Fabric appears to be cotton blend, easy care cleaning (in my opinion).
