STUNNING LADY COLUMBIAN EXPO STERLING SOUVENIR SPOON
This sterling silver souvenir spoon celebrates the 1892-1893 COLUMBUS Exposition held in CHICAGO. It is one of the most beautiful spoons produced. The handle features on the top figural portrait of woman Bertha Palmer held up by two cherubs or little children, below globe with writing on it WORLD'S FAIR 1893 CHICAGO and below lady wrapped in US flag holding a globe. In the bowl it has embossed is a very detailed image of a building at waterfront with few gondola style boats and wording is WOMAN'S BUILDING WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION. On the back it has back of the portrait with writing BERTHA M.HONORE PALMER and decorations down the handle.
