Vinyl plays with crackles and some clicks (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges, light scuffing, and faint surface impressions (front/back); discoloration spots on back, especially near edges. Sticker residue and surface abrasion near top-left on front. Inner-sleeve is generic white. Spine is mostly easy-to-read, with crooked text and wear. Developing splits near center and shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge. Wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of use and divots. Label variant. (Not a cut-out.)
In June of 1943 the Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band – a hand picked crew of experienced musicians including a string section made up of men who had been recruited from several top symphonies – began a series of weekly coast-to-coast radio broadcasts called I Sustain Wings, which features the full forty-five piece orchestra. The selections on Marvelous Miller Moods highlight the romantic facets of this great Miller band.
