For your consideration is a vintage pair of pillowcases.  These pillowcases are from cotton that have been hand appliqued with little boy and girl pants. The pants have been left open at the top which allows for a small pocket.  Teal gingham on this pair.  Each case measures 20" x 31".   Very cute.  Make sure to check out the other pairs that I have very similar to these.
