For your consideration is a vintage table lamp. This lamp was made in Italy with Italian black marble.  It is a tall lamp at 36" to the top of the finial, 28 1/2" to the top of the socket.  The harp, finial and socket have been replaced with new ones for safety, however the cord is in good shape.  The base is 5 1/2" square.  A very mid century modern design with Italian black marble.  These black marble lamps sell upwards of $2,500 for new ones, and I have never found one in this shape.  Because it is marble it is very heavy at about 15 pounds.
