For your consideration is a vintage/antique large hinged clamshell server.  This piece has 3 feet that it sets on when the lid is closed.  When you open the lid you can use it as a server as well and the handle acts as a foot for the lid.  This is a hollow ware piece, probably by Sheffield Silver Co USA, but is unmarked. Closed it is 13" and 6" tall with the handle and feet.  You can open it up and it is 23 3/4" with two serving places with another 1 1/4" for the handle that will stick out.  It is 11" wide.  A nice large server for your table to showcase all your efforts in cooking.  I did a quick clean on this piece to see if it would clean up. It does need a better cleaning as there are still some areas that need it.  Not sure if it would clean up like new or not.  I have taken a picture of one of those areas.
