For your consideration is a beautiful hand made Skrdlovice art glass bowl vase.  This is from Czechoslovakia.  The art glass studio was founded in 1941 by Emanuel Beranek.  It made art glass until 2008, however from about 1950 to 1992 is was under communism rule.  It was returned to the Beranek family in 1992 after the return of democracy.  Emanuel retired in 1959 and his sons took over the company after having become expert glass artists.  This vase is 3 1/4" tall and almost 5" wide at the widest point.  The opening at the top is just over 3" in diameter.  This is thick glass with the white swirl in clear glass.  No chips or cracks.
