These capsules contain no wheat, yeast, soy, gluten or milk derivatives and no preservatives or flavors and artificial colors.

Ester-C Plus was developed exclusively by Solgar and is manufactured using a patented method. In this way, a pH-neutral (non-acidic) vitamin C complex can be produced, which prevents stomach problems. In addition, Ester-C Plus contains vitamin C metabolites (intermediates) that occur together with vitamin C in nature. A special manufacturing method is used to form a complex of calcium ascorbate and vitamin C metabolites. Ester-C Plus provides an added benefit by adding acerola, a bioflavonoid complex derived from citrus, rutin and rosehip, to the calcium ascorbate/ester-C complex.
