The head spins freely so as you drill into the ground, hold the head still and the stake will drill easily into the ground. 2. Once you have almost reached the ground, ensure the hook is facing towards the ground and loop your guy lines or other camping gear under the hook before drilling the remainder of the stake into the ground. 3. IMPORTANT Removal of the stakes: When removing the stakes from the ground it is important that you hold the head and pull with a small amount of pressure as you are drilling the stakes out of the ground. This is to ensure that the o-ring and washer stays in tact and does not get left in the ground.
