Since 1936 this has been the favorite espresso of many Sicilians in Ybor City, Tampa's Italian and Spanish neighborhood.

My Grandmother Rosina Cacciatore was related by marriage to Santo Trafficante the alleged Mob Boss of Florida.  As a matter of fact the two families immigrated to Tampa from the same village in Sicily as did many of the Sicilians in Tampa.

I remember as a young boy being dragged by my mother and grandmother to the Trafficante household where I would sit patiently eating Italian cookies while the adults socialized and sipped on the espresso that my grandmother would bring with her on her weekly visits.

They really loved that espresso and it quickly became the coffee of choice among the Sicilian families and their associates.

We are now making this excellent espresso available to all.

This striking blend of coffees creates an exceptional espresso that is full bodied with a wonderful aroma and never a bitter taste.
