Up for sale are a lot of Photos!  The photos are from the estate of Richard "Dick" Sargent.

Most, if not all of the photos are from the 1950s. Includes family photos, animals, children, at least one automobile, events, numerous negatives , and a contact sheet. Also includes a couple envelopes with his name and NY address on them for provenance. Some of the photos are identified on the back.

Richard "Dick" Sargent (1911-1979), who was one of The Saturday Evening Post’s most prolific illustrators. He was a Midwesterner born in Moline, Illinois in 1911. His early career in art began just after his graduation from Moline High School, when he went to work for a local printing and engraving plant.


The photos vary in size. Many are 3" x 4", 4" x 5" and 5" x 6" and come on original photo paper. 

This lot comes from a smoke-free home and is in excellent condition.  Please see photos for details.
