Saved by my grandfather, this pocket tape ruler sat in storage and various humid conditions for the last 90 plus years.

It was found inside a dusty, 1960's steel tool chest.  Has some scuff marks here and there.

What is unique about this tape measure is there is a metal cord tied up in knots.

Might need some WD-40 to help loosen the inside, because it is a small struggle to pull the tape measure let alone put it back in.
