Clarence Kelly SSPV (Born 1941) is an American sedevacantist traditional Catholic bishop. He is a co-founder of the Society of Saint Pius V and the founder of the Congregation of Saint Pius V.
Bishop Kelly served four years in the U.S. Air Force. Subsequently studied philosophy at the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C., graduating in 1969. After spending two years studying theology, he went to Switzerland where he completed his studies and was ordained a priest of the Society of St. Pius X in 1973.
This book was begun in this country and completed while in Europe. The French historian Bernard Fay (1893-1978, former Administrator General of the National Library of France) aided significantly in clarifying the scope and direction of the book. The author credits Robert Welch (1899-1985, founder of the John Birch Society) for the inspiration to research and present his findings in this book. xii + 264pp.
After his ordination, he returned to the United States and undertook some speaking engagements for the John Birch Society.
