Description
This is an adorable crochet lace maxi dress from the late 1960s - early 1970s.
Cotton cluny crochet-type lace alternating with bands of Flower Power embroidered organza trim.
No labels or tags, but commercially made.
Appears to be 100% cotton with poly or nylon trim.
Black, with floral embroidery in red, blue, yellow, orange, purple and pink.
Square neckline.
Empire waist.
Narrow velvet ribbon woven through lace at waist, and ties in front.
Three quarter length belled sleeves.
Straight skirt.
Lined.
Please note, there are no zippers or buttons - the dress is pull on.
I show it on my size 4 dress form, which measures 34 - 24 - 34.5.
It was a slightly tricky to get on, but it doesn't have collapsible shoulders. I think it will be doable on a real person,
I think it would be most suitable for possibly a size 0 or 00 miss.
It's just a DARLING hippie-era dress.
In excellent vintage condition. No issues that I could find.
Immaculately clean and ready to wear.
From a smoke-free home.
Necklace not included.
MEASUREMENTS taken laid flat, unstretched, and doubled
