A set of four plates made in Japan by Andrea by Sadek for the Winterthur collection. The fruit include wild strawberries, blackberries, currants and lingonberries The images are adapted from plates made in the Honore, Paris porcelain factory in the 1800's. They are beautifully rendered and are in perfect condition. The plate rims are banded in red and pale green with ornate  gold scroll work. They appear never to have been used. No chips, cracks, crazing, utensil marks or other signs of wear. The colors are vibrant and the images have the quality of botanical illustrations. They measure 8 1/4"
