Incredible and scarce oil and vinegar cruet set made by William Killbourne Kay for Kay's Universal Store of Worcester (United Kingdom) and after 1895- Kay & Co Ltd.
Simple but elegant silver-plated holder stamped K & Co with almost a basket weave design on the cups.
The inserts are heavy cranberry glass with heavy gold overlay and raised hand painted flower design.
No cracks or repairs on the glass or holder. Couple of small bites on one of the stoppers- consistent to age and use.
One stopper does show gold loss particularly at the top.
Both fit nicely into the base holders.
It measures 10" tall and 7" across.
