Rufus Dog, "My Hero" Dog with Stick and Little Puppy Watching Statue is a charming interaction of young pups. Here we see two dogs playing with a stick they found in a neighbor's yard during their daily walk. One dog proudly displays the stick in his mouth showing off his new toy. The other dog sits in amazement at his new hero for finding such a big stick. Man's best friend does all kinds of silly things which is why we love them. This Rufus the Dog statue is part of a collection of statues by Dutch Parastone Artist Ed Van Roswalen. He was inspired to sculpt Rufus when visiting the beautiful island of Corsica where each village square is populated by a wide variety of very friendly dogs. While spending his time relaxing, he noticed all the funny things that dogs do!
