The doll's name is Helen Schlegel - the heroine of Edward Morgan Forster's book "Howards End".

The doll costume is simple but adorable, linen-type fabric skirt, patterned blouse. Hands folded, no accessories. Dark brown hair, hazel eyes.

The doll is made of porcelain, the dress is made of material.

The head, arms and legs of the doll have little mobility.

Requires careful handling due to the fragility of porcelain.     

A perfect piece for collectors or as a gift for a child.
