VTG Sterling Silver Enamel Mummy Sarcophagus Propelling Mechanical Pencil Charm.

It’s a pendant! It’s a pencil! It’s both!

The mummy has an Egyptian mark on ring at top which indicates silver - .800 most likely. The chain is marked “925 Italy KC”

Weight of pendant and chain is 33.7 grams.

Pull up on the chain at the head of the mummy and it releases and pushes out a pen holder. No cartridge is there currently.

The color is all enameling. And it’s gorgeous!

We are not entirely sure how to date it. Some indication they go back to the 1920s, others seem to indicate 1970s-1980s when fascination with King Tut reached its peak. The propelling pen however is distinctly early 1900s.

Sarcophagus pendant is 2.5 inches in length. Sterling chain is 30 inches in length.
