This Vintage 1945 City of New York Department of Transportation Public Notice Poster is straight up awesome even though it is in really rough condition.  This one specifically talks about the Lorimer Street Line being re-routed and extended to replace service on Nassau Avenue.  It was posted effective for Sunday, October 28, 1945.  The subject matter includes Street Cars, Transportation, Infrastructure, and Public Works.  It was approximately 20" wide and 15" tall.  This would display wonderfully in a home or business.  A great piece of history.

Areas discussed are Franklin Avenue, Flushing Avenue, Park Circle, Meeker Avenue, Coney Island Avenue, Varick, Nassau, Manhattan, Lorimer Street, Lee Avenue, Franklin Avenue, Empire Blvd, Ocean Avenue, Parkside Avenue.
