The infrared heating element heats to 400° F and the internal fan circulates the dry hot air to cook golden-brown fried food with 80% less fat than deep-fried foods. The unit cooks chicken wings, french fries, or spring rolls with the same crunchy exterior and moist interior produced by conventional deep fryers. The absence of oil eliminates the hassle of disposing of hot, odoriferous cooking fat and the stainless steel basket removes for simple clean up in a sink. The unit adjusts to cook between 170° F and 400° F, it has a 30-minute timer, and the cooking basket has a removable divider for keeping different food items separate as they cook.
