This is a strikingly artsy artisan handmade African blouse by Nouveau Collections Original of Nigeria.
Marked a size 14, but more like a US size 2 approx. Please check measurements.
Hand dyed batik fabric in orange and dark violet purple.
No content label - I believe it is cotton. The fabric has a subtle damask texture.
So unique, and truly art-to-wear.
Wide neckline edged with a sawtooth fabric trim.
Fitted through the torso with long darts at the waist.
Flared at the hem - almost a peplum effect.
Three quarter length sleeves have a triangle cutout at hem, with fabric tabs.
Invisible back zip / snap.
Fully lined.
Beautifully made.
This was from a boutique at the Sheraton Hotel in Abuja Nigeria.
It is truly one of a kind.
Perfect like new condition - it looks like it was never worn.
Fits my size 2 dress form. The form measures 34 - 25 - 34.5.
