Well illustrated work covering the techniques of water color, pastels, and print arts written by John Canaday, (then) art editor and critic for the New York Times. 

Includes all original twelve full color, full page loose leaf plates with works by Manet, Toulouse-Lautrec, Gauguin, Degas, Homer and others all in “as new” condition. In overall very good condition with no damage and minor general/shelf wear consistent with age and use.

Some of the spines on the books has slight damage. Please see photos. Otherwise, books are in very good condition.
