Gravenstein Apple (Malus domestica), from Parker Strain, is an extra high quality Western Washington selection. Ripens Early to Midseason. Large fruits have greenish skin with gold and red blushing and crisp juicy aromatic flesh. An Excellent apple for fresh eating and preserving. Our favorite for flavorful applesauce and cider. Well pollinated by Fuji, Empire and Golden Delicious. Needs 400 chill hours and hardy in zones 6-9.

If you live in the colder northern states we do not begin shipping there until March- April. If you are located in one of these states, you are still able to place your order and we will ship it as soon as the weather allows.
If the temperatures either in your area or in transit to you are too cold for us to safely ship out your order, we will reschedule it to ship as soon as we feel it's safe to do so. What we look for is a period of 4 consecutive days above freezing in your area as well as ours in order to avoid the plants freezing in transit.
