Converts POL LP Tank to QCC1/Type 1 hoses and regulators. This adapter provides both a female and male (newer BBQ grills) option.
The female side adapter is standard POL (prestolite) adapter. The female side fits Type 1 and POL hose and regulator
This adapter will fit in the female POL valve on a 100 lb. LPG Tank and will connect a 100 lb cylinder to a grill that uses a 20 lb tank. (Type-1 Valve).
This adapter will allow you to connect an older tank to a newer gas grille.
The adapter does work well for older standard reverse thread connectors to the newer standard.

The adapter screws into the internal threads (also used to Refill the tanks) and allows connection of the new external thread grills ; Please Note: The inside part of this adapter is called a "female POL". The 'POL' is for 'Put On Left' in the Liquefied Propane Gas (LPG) industry.
