Studio Art Pottery 1998 Claudia Lee Cave Sumner Abstract Cubist Female Face Vase. The face is painted on both sides. Front side features a belly button as well. No chips or cracks. Signed on the base. Smoke and pet free. She was known for the mail art movement and lived in Corvallis Orgeon. Born in Salem, Oregon in 1951 she earned her MFA in 1980 from the University of Idaho. She passed away in 2016. The vase is 8" tall. Inner glaze of black. Hand painted exterior. Her papers are located at the Willamette University Archives. A great deal of her later art was experimental and it is hard to find a piece outside of a private collection.

Shipping
We ship by USPS mail only unless special arrangements are made. We ship the next business day after payment is made/cleared. Weekends and holidays are not business days.
Please make sure that Paypal and have your correct address and PO box if necessary. If you are an international client, please make sure we have a valid address for you in English to avoid shipping delays. We only ship to verified confirmed addresses.
INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS: Please note that delivery times are ESTIMATES. First class international mail can take 2-6 weeks for delivery depending on delays in customs. There is very limited tracking on first class air mail. PRIORITY MAIL international does include tracking and insurance.

We offer a no hassle 30 day return policy. We refund the purchase price only, not the shipping, unless we have made an error. Please ask all questions prior to bidding.
