These are 1980s figures from a Mexican nativity scene. There are 9 freestanding people and 5 animals, all done in white clay with gold accents.
I'm sure there was a building with this when it was originally purchased, but this is all there was when I bought it. The people are quite elaborately painted, and the animals are very simply panted.
CONDITION: Although these pieces have been displayed, they are in very good condition with minimal damage or wear.
SIZE: The largest figurine is about 2 3/4" tall.
BACKGROUND: I have a collection of nativity sets and other unusual Christmas things I've amassed over the 35 years I've been buying and selling antiques and collectibles.
