Spode China Made in England Gainesborough Pattern 1 Bread & Butter Plate & 1 Saucer
Here is a pretty Bread and Butter Plate and a Saucer from Spode Marlborough China
Gainsborough pattern Made in England. The pattern is discontinued and made from 1956 to 2003.
White with a scalloped edge and multi color flowers around the plate and saucer.
Bottom back stamp is a little different on them but they match and are both from the Gainsborough pattern. The Bread and Butter back stamp has "Spode England S245N Gainsborough". The saucer back stamp has "Spode - England - Gainsborough - S245Q. Around this are the words (Dishwasher Safe and Microwave Safe) I am thinking that since this pattern was made over a period of years one is older than the other.
Both are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or breaks.
The Bread and Butter plate measures 6 3/4 inches in diameter. The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter.
