Prince Andrew Sarah Ferguson 1986 Royal Wedding Crown Winsor Made in England Commemorative Coffee Tea Mug
This is an unused pre owned 1986 mug Made in England commemorating the 1986 wedding of Queen Elizabeth's second son Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah Ferguson by Crown Winsor Pottery. It holds 8 ounces and features a design that highlights the wedding date of July 23, 1986 with wedding bells on the back. Held in Westminster Abbey, the ceremony was a traditional Church of England wedding service, officiated by the Archbishop of Cantebury. It was watched by a global television audience. The same day, the Queen created Andrew Duke of York, Earl of Inverness, and Baron Killyleagh, all titles previously held by both his maternal great-grandfather and grandfather. As was the case with Andrew's older brother Charles' marriage, the couple separated in 1992 and divorced in 1996.
