  • EDITION: 1939. PLATE ENGRAVED AND PRINTED BY THE ETABLISSEMENTS BRAUN & CIE, AT MULHOUSE-DORNACH, HAUT-RHIN, FRANCE. This is plate number 5 of 24.

 

SUMMARY: This is a Beautiful Lithograph after the above Listed famous Matisse Work of Art, and the original title and year of the work are catalogued in lead verso the support. Also, the piece is signed by Matisse 'in the plate', just about visible to the lower left hand corner of the print. 

It is immediately ready to be mounted and framed, and will of course be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity detailing the origins of the piece.

The article is in excellent condition for its years, and the colours in the plate are so rich you can almost taste the fruit!
