This is a Vintage 1978 Western Electric Model 500DM Rotary Dial Tan Desk Phone. Phone has two small crack in body cover (see photos 6 and 7) and a wear spot on the handle (see photo 8). Other than that it looks good for it's years. It’s a full modular units with jack for the wall and handset. I plugged it in to the phone line and could hear the dial tone, but couldn’t dial out. I have digital phone service, so from what I've read on the internet, this is what happens with rotary phones and digital service. I would need a pulse-to-tone converter in order to dial out. So it may be fully functioning, but I can't say for sure. Selling as is.
