Book is fine save being lightly, but appropriately, age-toned to the period.  The dust-jacket is missing a .375x.500 chip from the head of the spine and a small amount of rubbing at the spine folds, edges, and corners with some light age-toning also. The $1.75 price is present on the jacket and there is no “Printed in U.S.A.” on the jacket back flap. Tis indeed a 1^st U.S. edition Animal Farm – quite the distinctive tome indeed, and a marvelous Capture of Tyme.
