This textured, lightly polished horn is intended to be a more natural version of our popular smoothly polished Viking drinking horns. All AleHorns are designed entirely by nature, and this one is made using a minimalist design that highlights the epic victories and struggles of ancient and modern life. The color, scratches, scrapes, and rough natural texture are left on the horn as a token of the earth, while the drink you pour inside is a reminder of the gods. Just like the drinking horn makers before us, our drinking horns are handcrafted from ethically sourced bovine horn. Horns are cut and shaped, lightly polished, trimmed around the rim with protective brass, and finished with food-safe sealant. Your natural Viking drinking horn includes a matching stand made from the same animal as your cup to help you take a few bites of food with your mead, or to proudly display your horn on a mantle or shelf
