This booklet still contains 10 of 12 sepia tone postcards showing scenes around the Saut-du-Loup area in France. The 3-1/2 x 5-1/2 inch postcards show waterfalls, rocky streams and cliffs in the Gorges-du-Loup. Also pictured are Le Restaurant du Saut du Loup, Les Cascade de Courmes, Le Pont de l’Abime, and Le Viaduc du Saut de Loup. The photographs were taken by Frederic Laugier of Nice sometime between 1928 and 1937. Tissue papers separate each postcard. The booklet originally contained 12 postcards. The condition of the remaining postcards is excellent. They are still attached to a stapled binding and are perforated on one edge so they can be removed. This binding was probably glued to the cover along the spine, but this has separated. The cover has some soiling. There is a half inch tear at the top of the back cover.
