Ty Beanie Baby 8-Inch "Mystic the Unicorn" with Tag Errors
This toy has been in storage for quite a while, as we have been cleaning out and clearing out excess office and inventory items.
It is the 8-inch type all original, with Tush-tag and the Swing-tag. There is a "R" above the TM mark on the front of the Tush-tag. The Registered Trade Mark (R) is after the word Collection and after the TY logo, then they show the toy name, "Mystic" and they add the Trade Mark after that (TM). The horses mane is strands of braided yarn.
The Tush tag reads: Copyright 1993 Ty Inc. Oakbrook, IL. U.S.A.; Reg. No PA. 1965 (KR), which means for the Korean market. The Tush tag errors are: 1) Period after IL (Oakbrook, IL"." U.S.A.); 2) Missing a comma between Ty and inc.; 3) Reads: "P.E. Pellets ", which stands for Polyethylene. Either the periods should have been dropped, or and a period after the word pellet,; and, 4) Should have a period on the abbreviation for number (Reg. No "." PA.1965).
The Swing-Tag Errors: 1) Period after IL (Oakbrook, IL"." U.S.A.); 2) Missing comma between Ty and inc.; 3) Missing Comma between Europe and Ltd.; Reads: Ty Europe " " Ltd. Fareham, Hants PO15 5TX, U.K. which shows that this is an older style or design. Also, 4) There is a Space between the end of the poem, "... his shell !"
