New and Still Sealed: Mc Donalds Happy Meal Toy - TyTeenie Beanie Baby "Spunky the Cocker Spaniel #4", with Errors
This Spunkt the Cocker Spaniel has been in storage for quite a while, as we have been cleaning out and clearing out excess office and inventory items.
It is the smaller 4-inch "Teenie Babies" type all original, with Tush-tag and the Swing-tag. This was the toy in select Mc Donalds Happy Meals in the 1990's. Still sealed and new in package.
The Tush tag reads: Copyright 1993 Ty Inc. Oakbrook, IL.; and Reg No. PA-6839 (HK) BW, which means Hong Kong, and, MFD. for Mc Donalds. Stamped B35. The Tush tag errors are: 1) Period after IL (Oakbrook, IL"."); 2) Missing a comma between Ty and inc.; 3) Comma after inc.","; 4) Reg No. should have a period after "Reg. "; and 5) Spelling error, "Polyethelene", which is mis-spelled (Polyethylene with a "y", according to the Webster Dictionary).
The Swing-Tag Errors: 1) Period after IL (Oakbrook, IL"." ); 2) Missing Comma between Ty and inc.; and 3) the Name Spunky should be in quotes, as a modifier is added to that name. Either call it Spunky, or "Spunky", which gets the description as a dog.
And the Happy Meal plastic packaging has errors as well. The Copyright date shows 1999 on the bottom. The spelling of Oakbrook varies from Oak Brook to Oakbrook, appearing in several locations. Is there a difference in the towns, Oak Brook vs. Oakbrook? Ask the residents or the postal service, they will know. The inconsistency is an error for sure.
