It fits best with Alcove bathtubs that have flat bathtub dam surfaces and not recommended for free-standing tub or tubs with interior curvature designs. A sturdy #304 stainless steel frame and wide seat surface measures 32" L x 13.5" W and supports up to 250 pounds while satisfying all ADA code requirements when properly installed. The seat easily folds up and is automatically held in a raised position 3” against the wall by a stainless-steel friction hinge bracket. The friction hinge bracket is engineered to provide a smooth consistent resistance when raising and lowering the seat. The tub seat is constructed with durable, water-resistant Naugahyde foam-padded material, which is excellent for easy cleaning, added comfort, and ideal for long-lasting use.
