Gillian Holroyd, who is part of a family of witches that includes Aunt Queenie and brother Nicky falls in love with Sheperd Henderson on the eve of his marriage to Merle Kittridge.  Gillian wastes no time in casting a spell over Shep, causing him to ditch Merle for herself.  However, when Gillian tells Shep the truth, he angrily seeks the help of the bizarre Mrs. De Pass, who releases him from Gillian's spell.  But Aunt Queenie mangest to reunite the pair with the help of a poerful magic -- love!
