King Cobra Ti Oversize 11.5* Driver 44" Regular Flex Graphite Shaft.
Prima 3 & 5 Woods have compact heads and Steel Shafts for better accuracy.
By positioning the clubface slightly behind the shaft, it gives you more time to square the club at impact. This encourages right to left spin (i.e. draw shape) and minimizes left to right spin (ie slice shape). An offset hosel corrects any rightward tendencies and helps you find the middle of the fairway easier and more consistently.
Although there aren’t very many offset drivers to choose from, Cobra, Callaway, and Wilson still produce them. Basically, if you are willing to embrace your natural slice shape off the tee, an offset driver could be the perfect companion for reducing this tendency and helping you find more fairways.
This club was modified to be a "FAIRWAY FINDER"
Review: "Wow! This club was last reviewed in 2003? Well I just purchased a used one in excellent condition at Golf Mart, Northern California, October 15, 2009.
Regular Graphite Ti shaft. 9.5 degree face on an offset head. Original grip still in like new condition.
My regular driver is a Callaway VFT with a System 60 shaft. When I hit a pure drive with a Titleist Pro V1 it goes 270 yards.
The King Cobra has a different feel. The head feels heavier to swing about. Stance alignment was at first was a little tricky for me, I'm not accustomed to a smaller club head.
After 5 buckets of balls on the range, I'm getting the hang of this driver. I am blasting a good drive maybe just 5 yards longer than the Callaway.
Ball strike is a quiet yet solid Crack! Not the nasty aluminum "Plink" that the new Cobras all have. I owned a LV-5 M Speed for 3 days - Hated it!
I think this club was made in the USA. You can tell by the solid feel and performance.
Best used golf club I've ever purchased!"
This vintage club SET is in good condition, there are some scratches and dings, has newer, soft playable grip, worn looking shaft, but almost no groove wear.
These specialty clubs will be a great SET for many years.
