Item description for Hank Caruso Original Cartoon Sketch Naval Aviation Magazine Military with Docs

For your consideration is a Hank Caruso original cartoon sketch for the Naval Aviation magazine. Also included is an invoice for this cartoon dated December 7, 1991 and a copy of the May-June 1991 magazine showing Caruso was doing the artwork for the magazine. The art work does have some spots on it, so please look closely for the condition. The artwork is 8 1/2" x 11".

Caruso was trained as both an artist and an engineer. His careful draftsmanship and attention to detail add a strong sense of the aircraft's unique personality. His work was enhanced by his first-hand flying experiences as a backseater with Navy and Air Force operational, test and training Top Gun and the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School.
