Vintage original 8 x 10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the 1970s adventure/drama, HURRICANE, released in 1979 by Paramount Pictures and directed by Jan Troell, about the desperate love affair between a young Samoan chief and an American painter, against the will of her father. Amid this man-made tension comes a hurricane so devastating, the lives of the lovers and the entire island are imperiled.

The image depicts a posed shot of the film's producer, Dino De Laurentiis, on location in Bora Bora, Tahiti, during the filming of Hurricane. Affixed to the verso is the original paper snipe that describes the image. It is in very fine- condition with the light outline of a small paperclip on the top border as shown.
