Here today is a vintage Ladies Auxiliary money clip. Engraved on the back is Thank You Mary Cottone. National President Ladies Aux. to VFW. 1971.  No other markings to real gold or not. I would think it is gold tone. Has some wear form age and use. See photos as they are an important part of the description and will help you know what you are bidding on.
