Ok so here’s the scoop: This is likely something you will not see again. We marked the set as USED because we bought it at a recent estate sale. In looking it over it’s pretty obvious it’s never been used. The purse pouch (which has room for both pen and pencil) still has the card in it. I’m fairly confident we were the first to ever take it out (for photos). Second this is a Ladies Set. We don’t see those often although we run into a ladies pen or pencil from time to time and if there is a leather pouch, it usually beat up. Third, these are 14K gold filled - not 12K or 10K - as are more common. Last, this is a personalized set but not with a name.

The logo was tracked down and is from the Columbia School of Broadcasting. The original owner worked there as a Secretary (we believe and based on obituary). At least 15 years because the personalization is for “15 Years of Service”.

This set will appeal to Pen and Pencil collectors alike but perhaps even more do to a graduate from the Columbia School of Broadcasting.

It would also make fantastic gift for either of the above.

As stated, this is likely a “one-off.” It’s highly doubtful you will ever see another set like this, in pristine condition, with this logo and inscription.
