The 1823 book with the white cover and gilt decorations is in very good, clean antique condition with minimal wear and writing, some toning to the pages, and tight binding. The black leather book has cracks along the front joint, and surface wear. There's some writing on the blank page at start of book, pages are otherwise clean. Internal binding is good.
