Here is an incredible Fisher Price Little People Play Family Fire Station (#928). Manufactured between 1980-82, the set originally came with 17 fun-filled pieces. This set is VHTF, let alone in NEAR MINT -MINT condition! This particular set is 100% COMPLETE! Even the RARE fire hoses are included!!!
When you turn the crank on the side of the fire station, the garage door goes up and down and the bell rings. The interior of the fire station features two levels. The upper level serves as a staging area for the dispatchers while the lower level houses the rescue vehicles.
The EXTERIOR Fisher Price logo is brightly colored and displays only two small bubbles. One is located on the far left hand edge of the litho and the other is about an inch to the left of the Fisher Price emblem. Since the later is only 1/16" L x 1/16" W it's virtually invisible. I've tried to take some close up photos of this litho so you could see them for yourself. Many of these blend in with the "weathered" look of the bricks on the litho so they don't detract from the base's overall appearance. In general, I would gauge this litho to be in NEAR MINT-MINT condition.
The INTERIOR dispatch litho exhibits @3-4, thin, horizontal bubbles on it. The rest of the litho, as well as the cat litho, are PERFECT! After repeated close scrutiny, I cannot find anything else amiss on the INTERIOR lithos. Remarkedly, they are free of any stains, marks, discolorations, tears, rubs or other blemishes. In my opinion, the INTERIOR lithos warrant an NEAR MINT-MINT rating.
The plastic surfaces are in GREAT shape (NEAR MINT-MINT). Other than one light scuff and a few extraneous marks, I literally cannot find anything amiss. I believe the marks will come off during the cleaning process. Everything works as designed and the plastic surfaces have retained their original robust coloration. The bell also bright and shiny.
Besides the fire station itself, this set includes the following original accessories:
1 VHTF fire practice tower (NEAR MINT-MINT--couple of stray marks on top and side of tower; I believe these will be erradicated during cleaning);
2 EXTREMELY RARE fire hoses (1 MINTY MINT --ABSOLUTELY NO CHEWS! The other has a few "nibbles" on it; these are hard to see; I had to hold it up within 3" of my eyes and rotate it in the light to detect them; I'd rate this second hose as being in EXC++-NEAR MINT condition);
2 EXTREMELY RARE yellow stabilizers for the fire truck (both MINTY-MINT);
2 VHTF barricades (MINT);
2 VHTF yellow ladders (VG++-EXC-some minor chews on the connecting portions and bottom sides of the ladders);
1 VHTF Dalmatian Dog (MINTY MINT);
2 VHTF ALL PLASTIC firemen w/ red arms and red hat (MINTY MINT--NOTE: This set originally came with 2, ALL plastic firemen w/red arms and red hats; at the time I took these photos, I didn't have a second fireman with red arms and hat so I substituted a WOOD/plastic fireman with white hat, red arms, and freckles in lieu of the other fireman; I'm including this WOOD/plastic fireman as a BONUS to this set; he's in EXC condition with some dulling of his black body paint due to age);
1 HTF ALL PLASTIC fireman with white arms and hat (MINTY MINT);
1 VHTF fire chief car (NEAR MINT--couple of scuffs on red "light" at the rear of the car; I don't think these are chews; rest of vehicle is in MINT condition);
1 HTF red and white ambulance without Fisher Price being written on the wheels (EXC-EXC+--some scratches, dings, and wear to a few of the letters);
1 VHTF light red large pumper fire truck with the extendable ladder and basket on the end (NEAR MINT-MINT--one indentation on right side of truck). (Note: This is the fire truck that originally came with this set; it does NOT have the design on the side).
This play base and all of its accessories will be thoroughly Q-tip cleaned with TLC prior to sending them on to their new owner. I spend a minimum of 1 - 1 1/2 hours cleaning each and every Vintage Fisher Price play set that I sell (except those listed in My Rough Room). I pride myself on immaculately clean play sets.

I've been finding that Fed Ex Home Delivery has been running about 33% cheaper than the USPS (Parcel Post) and UPS Ground for domestic shipments in the mainland U.S. In order for me to ship Fed Ex, I need a residential address, not a P.O. Box, and a home or cell phone number.
I charge the ACTUAL cost of the shipping based on the weight of your package, its size, and its destination. I do NOT charge any handling fees. Since the shipping calculator does not afford Fed Ex Home Delivery as an option, I MUST enter these charges manually on your INVOICE. Therefore, PLEASE do NOT send payment until I can secure these charges for you.
Similarly, I'm more than willing to combine purchases into one shipment to save you money. However, I respectfully request that you wait for a COMBINED INVOICE from me before sending payment. Otherwise, you run the risk of being inadvertently overcharged by the shipping calculator and PayPal is likely to charge me for multiple transaction fees instead of one combined transaction.
I'm willing to ship selected items to Canada and Australia. However, be advised that the shipping costs to these countries are much higher than here in the mainland United States.
