This has a seam running down both sides that form the sheath that you wear while the edges flay out on either side. I measured the distance from one seam to the other seam and it was 22" so that would allow for 44" total circumference. There is no size tag in this garment, so I'm guessing that it would be a medium or large based on those measurements. The embroidery is quite pretty.
