Poppy anemone, also known as Anemone coronaria, is a beautiful and delicate flower that belongs to the buttercup family. تمتاز شقائق النعمان بتركيبها الكيميائي الفريد، حيث يستخدم مسحوق أزهارها في علاج تقرحات الجلد وتسكين الآلام، كما يمكن نقع أوراق الزهرة بعدتجفيف أوراق النبتة وطحنها وشرب المنقوع للعلاج من التهابات الصدر والاضطرابات العصبية، وعلاج القولون العصبي، كما تستخدم في التخلّص من البلغم ونزلات البرد وخروج دم الحيض، كما تدخل عصارة وزيوت هذه العشبة في إنتاج مراهم ضمد الجراح وتطهيرها
