Here is a STUNNING, VINTAGE FISHER PRICE #501 BARN PEEK UP 'N PEEK PUZZLE for your inspection. This puzzle consists of 13 pieces, 11 of whom are equipped with a yellow peg. The pegs on each puzzle piece are designed to help little fingers easily remove the pieces from the puzzle. The puzzle was designed for 3- 6 year old children. Manufactured between 1972-84, the puzzle resembles one of Fisher Price's Vintage #915 Barn play sets. The detail is AMAZING. All of the pieces, when removed, has an underlying litho showing what occurs inside each corresponding area of the barn and which items or animals are commonly associated with that particular room. The puzzle also whimsically depicts the night and day operations on a farm. For example, when the piece depicting the farmer and his tractor is removed, you see the same farmer driving his tractor in his pajamas and the internal workings of the tractor. When the piece showing the farmer boy climbing up the ladder on the silo is removed, you see the boy climbing up the ladder in his pj's.
This is a EXCEPTIONAL puzzle for beginning language learners. The puzzle provides loads of opportunities to highlight assorted vocabulary, language based concepts (e.g. up, down, inside, outside, on, off), Wh- questions (e.g. "Where are the birds?" "Where is Daddy?" "What is the boy doing in the hayloft?" "Who says 'moo?'" etc.) categorization (e.g. "Tell me some things you might find in a barn.") and memory activities. The lithos are captivating and spark a lot of conversational attempts. In my opinion, this puzzle is in MINT condition. The only "imperfection" I can find is one, barely perceptible scratch on the lower edge of the upper right hand side barn door. To me, this puzzle looks BRAND NEW!
That's it! All of the interior lithos are in MINTY MINT condition. This puzzle was produced in Holland. The back of the puzzle is devoid of any marks. stains, or punctures etc. This is an ABSOLUTELY A COLLECTOR QUALITY puzzle.
This incredible puzzle is accompanied by its ORIGINAL BOX. The box itself has been subjected to some abuse during the mailing process to me. The corner tabs have been squished and a few have been split. Someone, not me, has attempted in the past to reinforce the corners of the box with a small amount of scotch tape. This tape looks like it could be easily removed. There is also some minor edge wear along the interior seams of the box. The rest of the box looks to be in TERRIFIC shape. On a scale from 1-10 with 10 being PERFECT, I would rank this box as being a 7.5.

I’ve been finding Fed Ex has been running @33% cheaper than the USPS (including Parcel Post) and UPS Ground. FYI, another benefit of using either Fed Ex or UPS is that their quote includes up to $100 worth of FREE insurance. Additional amounts of insurance may be purchased for a nominal fee (that is much less than the USPS). Fed Ex also provides automated tracking updates re: your parcel’s whereabouts directly to your personal e-mail account.
In order to ship Fed Ex (or UPS for that matter), I MUST have a residential or work place address, NOT a P.O. Box number, as well as a home or cell phone. Otherwise, they will not accept the shipping paperwork or transport your item.
