It still amazes me what could be acquired for only 10 cents plus the box-top from a box of cereal -- but this item is from 1933, when a dime went a v-e-r-y long way, and many kids were lucky to have even one meal a day, much less a bowl of store-bought breakfast cereal in the morning. Nevertheless, this nifty little children's collection of Mother Goose rhymes and stories will still delight even our jaded kiddies of 90 years later, filled as it is with some really superb full color and b&w illustrations by VERNON GRANT, including even the 1930s version of the KELLOGG's RICE KRISPIES elves -- Snap, Crackle & Pop!
Shipping charges include postage (including USPS Tracking on domestic shipments), packaging materials, labor & fuel (the nearest post office is 14 MILES away!); but I do combine shipping charges on multiple items -- so fill up that cart NOW an' save some $$$!
